WHAT IS EMTONE AND QWO?
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EMTONE AND QWO®?
There are a few notable differences between both of these treatments. We require a consultation, so our team can help you determine which treatment is best for your cellulite, but let’s dive into the differences in these treatments to better understand what to expect.
EMTONE helps reduce the appearance of cellulite by addressing various factors contributing to the dimpling of the skin. These factors include; body fat, increased skin laxity, and loss of skin integrity. It works great for your arms, legs, stomach, and buttocks with a 10-28 minute session and zero downtime. During the treatment, clients may except the treatment area to feel very warm. At the warmest point, the emtone will bring the skin surface up to 44 degrees celsius. You will typically see results after your first session, and they continue to improve over 12 weeks past your appointment. We recommend 5 consecutive treatments (5-10 days apart) and a single treatment for maintenance quarterly.

QWO® is the first and only non-surgical injectable treatment available to reduce moderate to severe cellulite. Qwo is injected directly into the cellulite dimple. Once injected, the enzyme targets the cellulite dimple by releasing the fibrous bands and redistributing fat cells. This process results in a smoother skin surface, and significant reduction of cellulite. This treatment only requires 3 sessions, 21 days apart. Qwo can be used to address the buttocks, thighs, arms, and abdomen.
There is significant bruising, soreness and swelling associated with QWO that may last up to 14 days past your treatment. The bruising is not related to the injection needle, rather it is directly related to the mechanism of action of the enzymatic solution. Clients can expect the bruising to appear as large dark purple eggplant on the treatment area, with associated soreness and endurations. These side effects decrease in significance after each consecutive treatment.
