Skin Game Changers: The 2 Nordlys Lasers You Need To Try

Get ready to brighten and rejuvenate your skin with Nordlys IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and Frax skin treatments at Bare! These treatments will help give you the skin you have always dreamed of.

Here are all of the reasons you will want to try IPL and Frax ASAP!

WHAT IS NORDLYS IPL?

Nordlys IPL uses short bursts of direct light to remove anything red and brown in color from the skin, which results in a more even and flawless appearance. This treatment works perfectly for anyone struggling with an uneven skin tone and looking to reduce facial imperfections like rosacea, broken capillaries, small veins, and pigment, (including age spots, sun damage, freckles, etc.).

The IPL treatment only takes about 30 minutes with little to no downtime. After treatment, pigment will look darker and have a slight rough feeling for a couple of days until it begins to flake off (like little coffee grounds). Capillaries, veins and redness will look brighter red for a short amount of time before fading away naturally. Pigment and rosacea do require several treatments. On average we recommend 3 to 5 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart to achieve your ideal results.

WHAT IS NORDLYS FRAX 1550?

Nordlys Frax is a non-ablative, fractional laser treatment targeting textural skin issues such as fine lines and wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, and large pores. This treatment helps your body create its own collagen to resurface your skin, giving a lifted, tightened, and smooth appearance.

This treatment generally takes less than an hour to perform. It can have a little “bite”, so we often use a topical numbing agent to alleviate any discomfort, upon request. Post treatment it will feel similar to a sunburn along with some texture, minor swelling, and pinkness. This typically all subsides within 5-10 days. Clients need 3 to 5 treatments, with 4-6 weeks in between.

WHICH TREATMENT IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Both of these treatments will improve the look and feel of your skin and help reduce the signs of aging. Picking the right treatment for your needs is purely based on your unique skin goals. We will also note that the IPL treatment is more focused on uneven skin tones, while the Frax 1550 treatment is ideal for textural imperfections.
